Registration Procedures
First Semester Students
These students will have an academic advisor, using the information provided
on the First Semester Registration Questionnaire, design the first semester
schedule of classes. The schedule will contain classes consistent with the
academic interests indicated and that fulfill Truman degree requirements. The
schedule will then be mailed to the student in early July with the name of the
assigned academic advisor. Questions concerning schedules can be answered by
contacting the RCP Office at 660.785.4409 during the summer or by visiting with
the assigned
academic advisor
during Truman Week.
Students Other Than First Semester Students
All students other than first semester students will register online through
Truview.
Prior to enrolling for the semester each student will contact their primary
advisor to discuss their schedule for the upcoming semester. At that meeting,
the advisor will give the student a registration time ticket that will indicate
the time the student may register on
Truview.
The student’s unique, semester-specific Registration Access Code or RAC will be
on the time ticket. The student will enter the RAC when they register and each
time they make changes to that semester's schedule.
A student may make changes to their existing schedule by going to
Truview and using their RAC any time after they enroll, as long as it is
within the time guidelines established by the Registrar’s Office for adding
and dropping courses. Refer to the schedule of classes for deadline dates
and appropriate fees.
Even though the student has the ability to make
these changes, it is still strongly recommended that the student discuss
these changes with their advisor.
